Beauty Of Chaos

Art Is Wild, But Wildness Does Not Mean Disorder
It means obedience to a deeper order, the order of nature itself., nature never breaks its own laws, and therein lies its perfection, the river may flood, the mountain may crumble, the storm may rage, yet none of these acts violate the harmony of existence. They are the very expression of it, to recognize this is to recognize that wildness is not rebellion but fidelity, the tree bends with the wind, the tide follows the moon, the seasons return without fail, each gesture of nature is a gesture of law, and each law is a gesture of harmony. Art, when it is true, must follow the same rhythm, it must be wild, yes, but wild in the way the forest is wild, untamed yet ordered, free yet bound by necessity. The perfection of nature lies in its refusal to contradict itself, it does not invent rules only to betray them, it does not promise balance only to collapse into chaos. Humans, however, falter, we invent laws and then break them, we proclaim harmony and then destroy it, we forget that to live is to obey, not the decrees of our own vanity, but the eternal decrees of the earth. The problem with humanity is not that we are wild, but that we are forgetful, we forget that wildness without law is ruin, and law without wildness is tyranny. Nature is nature because it remembers, it remembers the gravity that holds it, the cycles that guide it, the silence that sustains it, it remembers that perfection is not an invention but a recognition. Humans, by contrast, forget, we forget that our freedom is bound to necessity, that our creativity is bound to truth, that our art is bound to nature, thus the discord, thus the fracture, thus the endless attempt to dominate what should be obeyed. Art becomes product, beauty becomes commodity, and wildness becomes chaos, yet the lesson is before us, written in every stone and every star, harmony is not fragile, it is inevitable.  To restore art is to restore memory, to restore memory is to restore obedience, and to restore obedience is to restore harmony. The wildness of art must be the wildness of nature, free yet faithful, untamed yet perfect, only then does art cease to be imitation and become revelation.
